Course objectives
The aim of the course is to adequately concretize the knowledge of general pedagogy, to enable a better understanding of the complexity of the independent concept of education and to give students basic awareness of selected topics of school pedagogy with an emphasis on the necessity of an individualized and at the same time holistic approach when acting on an individual or a group. Another goal is to equip students with a number of practical skills that will enable them to successfully handle even challenging educational situations. The subject responds to new findings from pedagogical, psychological and didactic research on school teaching and learning and attempts to integrate and evaluate them for school practice. The mission of the course is to initiate, support and develop the professional vision, knowledge and actions of future special educators.
Learning outcomes
Expertise:
- the student orients himself in the basic professional terminology of school pedagogy
- the student formulates learning tasks of different cognitive demands
Professional skills:
- the student applies the basic professional terminology of school pedagogy to the description, analysis, interpretation and evaluation of the school as an institution and organization, selected curriculum documents and selected teaching situations
- the student characterizes the educational environment of the school, describes and explains the curricular processes
General qualifications:
- the student characterizes the teaching quality criteria and justifies their importance for the teacher's daily work
- the student plans and, using self-reflection, evaluates the lesson (reasoning, relevance of the subject matter, goals, contents, methods, evaluation and alteration)

  • 3. Reform efforts at the beginning of the last century in the Czech environment. Czech reform schools

  • 6. School management and the system of internal educational and educational entities (the current school counseling system, the role of the educational counselor, the school prevention methodology and the class teacher)

Oral exam. The written preparation of a correspondence task from the study support is a prerequisite for taking the oral exam.

Teacher's information
Personal contact in lessons, consultation hours. During ongoing studies, the student uses study support and processes selected correspondence tasks. Here, at the same time, he will demonstrate his knowledge of compulsory literature and contact teaching lectures. The student will be able to continuously consult individually studied subject topics via e-mail, individual or group consultations. The subject has an e-learning course prepared in IS SU and a team established in MS Teams, which also serves as another possible tool for communication with the teacher and between students.
