Course objectives
Basic didactics and its intentions build on previous discipline of Basic of pedagogy. The main objective and mission of the course is to develop students' professional pedagogical thinking. Course will try to introduce to students the reality of teaching.
Syllabus
  • 1. Didactics as a science and as a tool for teachers. The concept of didactics secondary schools
    2nd Secondary school pupil, socioeconomic differentiation of pupils gifted pupil in teaching disabled pupils in the classroom, student of a different ethnicity, migrant children in the classroom
    3. Teachers in the classroom, his competence, self-reflection, self-improvement in the educational activities of the teacher, the teacher's approach to teaching
    4. Education documents, curriculum, educational programs, school concept, curriculum and structure, approaches to subject matter: intermediate and accommodating, concretization of the curriculum,
    in curricula, didactic analysis of the curriculum, textbooks, teaching designing, preparing teachers for teaching, tuition, leading pupils during lessons
    5. Pedagogical and psychological diagnosis in the school didactics, didactic test, achievement test structures, types of test tasks, features didactic test
    6. Didactic principles. Educational goals and their taxonomy, approaches to setting goals, types of goals, taxonomy of educational objectives, defining educational objectives, errors in defining the requirements for teaching objectives
    7. Organizational forms of teaching, types, collective learning, group and cooperative learning, open teaching, project teaching others.
    8. Educational methods, classifications of teaching methods, classifications based on theories of learning, a comprehensive classification of core groups of teaching methods, activating methods
    9. Teaching jobs in teaching, the definition and role of teaching tasks in teaching, learning tasks taxonomy, teaching jobs criteria, parameters learning tasks
    10. The rating results of training, functions and evaluation phase, assessments, current problems of school evaluation, authentic assessment portfolio assessment, other forms and means of school assessment
    11. Material didactic resources, classification of material didactic resources, recommendations for working with different types of media, textbooks, tutorials, computer as a tool, use ICT programs to obtain information from a computer, e-learning, learning through information technology
