Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
LECTURE Subject aims to familiarize students with notions and concepts from the theory of communication. The base will consist of the concept of social behavior, communication theory, knowledge of interpersonal communication, etc. In addition, the lecture aims to make students understand the importance of using techniques of active listening and empathy in a counseling interview executives and acquire new strategies in managing conflict and aggression in the communication process. EXERCISES Exercises follow the lectures of the course, where topics are developed theoretically followed by practical learning in exercises. In exercises, students will map their own experience with the effects of personality on the specifics of communication and learn techniques expanding verbal and nonverbal communication. In addition, students learn in the workshop to practice active listening, guidance counseling interviews, effective communication and conflict resolution and group work with group dynamics.

Teacher's information
The student prepares seminar work in the range of min. 3 pages from the field of pedagogical communication, it is an analysis of one's own communication style and analysis of the communication process with a pupil or a group of pupils. In the oral exam the student will demonstrate the knowledge of communication skills with a focus on pedagogical communication.
