- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to introduce students to mediation as a method of social intervention. The sub-objectives are a theoretical grasp of mediation as a social practice in the resolution of interpersonal conflicts, including the historical and socio-cultural preconditions of its establishment in the second half of the 20th century, which shaped its basic principles. The second sub-objective is practical training in mediation skills and techniques. The building of mediator skills will be based on the so-called triangle of mediator influence, the peaks of which are techniques for working with content and information, techniques for working with emotions and relationships, and techniques for managing the process.
