The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
Lecture The aim of the course is to introduce students to the specifics of targeted groups of clients and with relevant theoretical approaches and methods which should be applied in social work with the aforementioned target groups. The emphasis will be placed on the application of theoretical knowledge to the practice of social work. Seminary The aim of the seminar is to introduce students to the specifics of targeted groups of clients and with relevant theoretical approaches and methods which should be applied in social work with the aforementioned target groups. Through interactive lectures and seminars, students should acquire not only theoretical knowledge, but there is also the posibility of applying theoretical knowledge within case reports and apply them during the practice of model situation. Each student will simulate working with the client in practical exercises, simulating will be reflected in the group. Students will also prepare and present seminar work on a given topic.

exam: knowledge of lectures and required reading
credit: processing essay of not less than 7 pages on the topic Specifics of social work with a selected target group of clients. Literature from which students will draw, will be a minimum range of 3 degrees from the circle of literature and basic 1 title from the circle of literature recommended. The basic criterion for assessing the quality of paper will demonstrate the ability to work with texts, with an emphasis on linking suitable individual authors propositions into a coherent logical framework and the ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practice. STAT students surrendered at least two weeks before the start of the credit week that the teacher had the opportunity to work to evaluate and possibly return to reprocessing via e-mail. The consultations (personal, electronic) student may use the time for resolving ambiguities in the processing tasks. STAT is a prerequisite to obtaining credit
