- Course objectives
- The aim is to interpret the practical application of theoretical knowledge, the applied research methodology and types of research and the results correctly in terms of terminology and erudition. In the context of the chosen topic, students will explain the process of operationalization of research questions and, if necessary, of hypotheses, formulating practical recommendations. Students describe how to solve the problem, formulate goals and assumptions that justify the methodology used in relation to the topic and objectives of the thesis.

- Professional knowledge:
- students can formulate and refines the problem that they want to deal with in their thesis
- they can construct the content structure of their thesis project
- they can verify the formulation of basic arguments and ways of dealing with the selected issue
- they can processes the collected data and evaluate and interprets the results found
- they can discusses the prepared conclusions of the thesis and formulate recommendations for practice
Professional skills:
- students can search, sorts and critically evaluate theoretical and practical information relevant to the systematic and comprehensive dealing with the consequences of the health problem at the level of individuals, groups, communities
General qualification:
- students can identify the problem and explain its nature, or divide it into parts
- they can generate hypotheses and propose gradual steps, consider using different methods to solve the problem or verify the hypotheses
- they ca apply appropriate methods and previously acquired knowledge and skills in solving problems; in addition to analytical and critical thinking, they can use creative thinking, imagination and intuition
- they can critically interpret the acquired knowledge and findings and verify them, finding arguments and evidence for their allegations, formulate and advocate their founded conclusions
- they are open to using various methods to solve problems, look at the problem from different sides
- they consider the possible pros and cons of the various possible solutions, including the assessment of their risks and consequences - Syllabus
- 1. The course of the research project according to the schedule.
- 2. Update to the schedule and refinement of research tools.
- 3. Processing the collected data and evaluating and interpreting the results found.
- 4. Evaluation and interpretation of research data.
- 5. Finalization of the working draft, conclusion of the theoretical part.
- 6. Completion of practical part of the thesis, evaluation of the thesis objectives, specification of appendices.
- 7. Composition of main conclusions, drawing recommendations for practice, discussion.
- 8. Completion of theoretical and practical parts, introduction, conclusion, resume.
- 9. Consultation of final comments on the empirical part.
- 10. Completion of formal aspects of the thesis (stylistically, linguistically and grammatically correct expression).
- 11.-12. Preparation for thesis defence, adequate responses to anticipated questions and comments.

- Proposal of the methodology of the empirical part is in line with the outlined goals, evaluation and interpretation of the results correspond with the the requirements for scientific work, the thesis includes recommendations for practice, or a proposal to extend the research plan.

- Teacher's information
- Personal contact during consultation hours and by appointment with the teacher. During the continuous study, the student adheres to the set schedule according to the Principles for the elaboration of the final thesis. The student will be able to continuously consult individually studied topics of the subject through e-mail, individual or group consultations. Here he also demonstrates knowledge of required literature.
