Course objectives
The course acquaints the students with basic concepts and structure of integrated enterprise information systems and Enterprise resource Planning, and also with specific solutions based on SAP, Oracle and MS Dynamics 365 Business Central. The course introduces particular case studies on examples for MS Dynamics 365 Business Central.

  • 1. Basic concepts of integrated information systems (ERP).
    2. Structure of ERP systems, types and classifications.
    3. Analytic tools used in ERP systems and their benefits for management.
    4. Database systems used in ERP.
    5. SAP, its domain of usage, basics of SAP parameterization.
    6. Oracle, its domain of usage, basics of Oracle parameterization.
    7. MS Dynamics 365 Business Central structure.
    8. MS Dynamics 365 Business Central usage - basic principles.
    9. Principles of integration within MS Dynamics 365 Business Central.
    10. MS Dynamics 365 Business Central modules.
    11. Analytic tools of MS Dynamics 365 Business Central.
    12. Dataports and reports of MS Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Teacher's information
A continuous test focused on theory will be realized during the semester. At least 70% participation in seminars. Seminar work in text form will be processed on a selected topic related to the content of the course. The evaluation of the seminar work will be carried out by the teacher until the beginning of the examination period. The evaluation of the seminar work is part of the evaluation of the exam. The exam takes place in classrooms equipped with a PC and its aim is to verify theoretical (in the form of a test) and practical knowledge and skills acquired during the study. Submission of a seminar paper by a predetermined date is a necessary condition to register for the exam.
