Course objectives
The aim of this course is to learn knowledge of Multicriteria decision making theory (MCDM) and its applicaton in decision making using by management. The practical aplication of the theoretical knowledge is the scope of the exercising. Students learn how to using software (Excel, Expert Choice) for MCDM.
Syllabus
  • Problems of Multicriteria decision making (MCDM).
    Optimal solution ? dominance-based approach.
    Basics methods for solution of MCDM: standardization, normalization, methods based on utility of variants, methods based on distance of variants, Saaty method.
    Analytic Hierarchy process (AHP) - basics term and rules. Priority on hierarchy.
    System of equations, eigenvector, eigenvalue, maximal eigenvalue ? aplication in MCDM.
    Index of inconsistency.
    Risk and uncertainty decision making.
    Group decision making.
    Solving of MCDM problems with PC use.
