The main aim of the subject is to gain theoretical knowledge and some practical skills in the field of civil protection before and during extraordinary events creation.

  • 1. History and present of civil protection in Czech Republic and its legislative
    2. The concept of civil protection in the strategy of NATO and EU, humanitarian ad
    3. The concept of civil protection by 2020, with a view to 2030
    4. Analysis of emergencies of natural and anthropogenic character
    5. Warning, notification, and emergency public information
    6. Evacuation and sheltering of the population
    7. Emergency survival of the population
    8. Protection of the population against floods
    9. Protecting in the vicinity of nuclear power equipment
    10. NBC protection and industrial pollutants
    11. Individual and collective protection
    12. Detection and identification of pollutants
    13. Decontamination
