Course objectives
Explaining of the significance of supply chain management and distribution channels from marketing strategy point of view. To explain students the supply chain management concept and types of distribution channels. Explaining of the factors, which affect the design of the distribution channel, its implementation and results. To explain the use of logistics cost management relations in the distribution channel, and generally clarify the role of logistics in supply chain management. Explaining how effective logistics organization affect the overall efficiency of business performance. Describe the various logistics and organizational structures and explore the factors that influence the efficiency of logistics organization.
