Předkládaný příspěvek se věnuje analýze vztahu mezi regionálním vysokým školstvím a podnikatelským sektorem v oblasti informačních a komunikačních technologií ve vybraných dvou krajích České republiky. Jihomoravský a Moravskoslezský kraj jsou po Hlavním městě Praze jediné dva kraje, ve kterých se odvětví Informačních a komunikačních technologií pozitivně dlouhodobě vyvíjí a koncentruje. Je tomu proto, že podnikatelský sektor zaměřený na produkci výrobků či poskytování služeb z oblasti informačních a komunikačních činností je úzce navázán na místní vysoké školy, konkrétně na ty technické fakulty, které generují požadované specializované pracovníky a prohlubují jejich kvalifikační potenciál. Příspěvek vychází ze sekundárních dat Ministerstva školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy České republiky a primárního výzkumu k problematice jednostranného vztahu odvětvově orientovaných ICT firmem vůči vzdělávacím institucím a jejich požadavkům na zaměstnance.

The presented contribution deals with the analysis of the relation between the regional university school system and the business sector in the field of information and communication technologies in two selected regions of the Czech Republic. The South Moravian Region and the Moravian-Silesian Region are the only two regions, with the exception of the capital city of Prague, in which the field of information and communication technologies has been positively developing and concentrating for a long period of time. The reason for this is the fact that the business sector focused on producing articles or providing service in the sphere of information and communication technologies is closely connected to the local universities, specifically those faculties of technology that generate the required trained staff and improve their qualification potential. The contribution is based on the secondary data of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in the Czech Republic and at the same time proceeds from the primary research on the issue of the biased relation between the sectorally oriented ICT companies toward the educational institutions and their requirements on the employees.
