Přednáškový dvousemestrální cyklus je zaměřen na dlouhé období dějin, které významnou měrou ovlivnilo naše současné vnímání světa. Středověk podle učebnic dějepisu trval od 5. do 15. století. Vlivy středověkého umění, filozofie, literatury, ale i hospodaření působily a působí i mimo toto úzce vymezené období. Přednáškový cyklus spolu s předkládanou oporou představí rozmanité aspekty středověké kultury i její vliv na naši současnou kulturu.

The two-semester lecture series focuses on a long period of history that has significantly influenced our current perception of the world. According to history textbooks, the Middle Ages lasted from the 5th to the 15th century. The influences of medieval art, philosophy, literature, and economics also had an impact outside this narrowly defined period. The lecture series, together with the presented support, will present various aspects of medieval culture and its influence on our current culture.
