- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to put into context the development of communication and the development of culture. Several new trends related to personalities or movements that have influenced the development of new theories in social communication and the media, or the changes that take place in society and on which society is forced to react, will be studied during the semester. The importance of the differences of individual and the mass communication will be highlighted, the publication process and its changes, advances in technology, globalization and multiculturalism will be discussed. Seminars will follow the topics and reflect them in discussions and seminar works.

- After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- to orientate and understand the context of social communication and media connected to more complex problems of society;
