Course objectives
The aim of the course is to approach the transformations, relationships and influences in the space of poetry 90s and the decade of the first millennium. Situation poetic creations in the 90s comes ambiguity, even chaos: on the one hand, silencing the voice resounds decades earlier (I. Diviš, K. Šiktanc) or middle generation (I. Wernisch), on the other hand, poetry probing of the key issues for their own sense of vital social and cultural transformations. Poetry in this period leads to spiritual values (V. Slíva, P. Kolmačka, M. J. Stöhr), inspired by personalities and poetics in Czech literature almost classical (B. Reynek, J. Deml). At the same time, however, it tends to imagination, surreal (M. Langer), hence the strong poetic gesture (J. F. Typlt), respectively. It is influenced by the aesthetics of postmodernism (L. Kasal, M. Šanda). Decade in the new millennium can then be viewed in terms of two, somewhat contradictory, currents, poetic ordinary, everyday (P. Hruška) and called. Involvement (J. Těsnohlídek, P. Štengl). Poetic testimony at the same time much closer enters into a relationship with music, new media (internet), respectively concept and performance categories (slam poetry).
