Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide basic theoretical training for the application of cultural heritage presentation and education in regional practice, specifically for people with specific needs in cultural tourism. Students will participate in the creation of partial segments, test their communication skills and assumptions for individual and teamwork, basics of topographical and chronological preparation, setting of contract terms for the provision of individual services, price calculation and guiding preparation. They will discuss principles of evaluation of the implemented product. The course mainly focuses on organisational and technical aspects of product provision according to the type of specific needs. They will also model problem-solving situations related to the limitations of potential clients (physical accessibility, providing a guided experience for the visually impaired).
