Course objectives
The aim is to understand the basic definition, purpose and goals of one of the educational disciplines and anchor it in the system of pedagogical sciences and simultaneously impart a basic knowledge of the topics listed below, with emphasis on the necessity of individualized and holistic approach simultaneously when exposed to an individual or group. Course content is closely linked to the orientation of general education. Attention is also paid to related concepts, developmental theories, history of development of individual parts of education and subsložek and their application in the educational environment of the school and family. The aim is to create a theoretical and practical foundation for further studies of applied educational disciplines. Another aim of the course is to equip students with a range of practical skills that will enable them to successfully manage and challenging educational situations. An integral part of the course are complementary seminars.

The objectives of education in the individual components of education, global education, education and rational view of the world, media education, moral education, humanistic education multicultural education work and technical, aesthetic and artistic education, physical education, health and healthy lifestyle
    3. Personality and social development of the individual
    4. Upbringing in the family
    5. Replacement educational care (Institutional and protective upbringing)
    6. Education in free time
    7. Discipline as a means and goal of education
    8. Socio-pathological phenomena of youth
    9. Bullying at school
    10. Other social pathological phenomena in children and youth and their prevention
