Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the nature and importance of management and its interdisciplinary characteristics, as well as to provide a brief overview of the development and current state of this discipline. Attention is focused on the content of managerial functions (basic, ongoing and security), on managerial actions. Management is understood as a system (organic unity of management structure and process). It includes defining the mission of the manager, styles and principles of management in relation to the use of modern information technologies and communication in management systems.
Learning outcomes

- identify and describe management approaches;
- analyze managerial functions and their meaning and essence;
- describe the types of management;
- describe the essence of leadership and ways of leadership.
