Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students an outline of the perception of literary works in the literary communication, to characterize the basic system components - the author, the work, the reader - in terms of literary criticism, aesthetics, psychology and bibliopsychology. The emphasis is on the characteristics of artistic and aesthetic qualities of literary works in the socio-historical context.

Teacher's information
Participation in lectures is reccomended. Absence in two seminars is allowed. Active participation in seminars, participation in the discussion.
Criteria for awarding credit:
Essay (2 standard pages) about the style of literary communication in the selected literary work (fiction).
Criteria for examination:
Didactic test of subject matter managed at least on 80%. After consultation with the teacher an additional term beyond the specified examination period can be set.
Students on Socrates/Erasmus stays may pass the course individually.
